Pacific Technology School Orangevale had the 3rd Annual Science Fair on Thursday, January 26. 150 students from different grade levels participated fair with 105 projects. Students' projects were evaluated by the judges from UC Davis, Sac State and Intel. Besides, a field representative from State Assembly attended fair and served as a judge. By this way, PTS Orangevale students had a chance to interview with professors, scientists and engineers.

Congratulations to PTS-Orangevale AMSP Team
ACCompete is Accord Institute's Computer Science Competition among AMSP students as a part of AMSP program. It is composed of three contests throughout the year. Students compete individually in the tests. The average of top four AMSP students in a school determines the score of the school.ACCompete started with a very competitive contest.
Visit to the Opening State Assembly
Pacific Technology School was greeted with great hospitality during the Opening of the State Assembly on Wednesday, January 4th. The extent in which Pacific Technology School was made to feel special was tremendous. In addition, three CA State Senators were presented with hand painted plates while students and their parents were given a tour of the Capitol.
Scientist From NASA Visited PTS!
Heidi Poppelreiter and Joshua Parris who work for NASA visited our school to give a presentation. They gave some information about NASA and answer students’ questions between 9.30am and 11:30am on Monday, January 9th, 2012.
Magnolia Pacific Technology School Open House
Students and parents alike will enjoy the chance to see Magnolia Pacific Technology School-Orangevale presentation which includes school education system, online student grade and behavior tracking system etc. at the first Magnolia PTS-Orangevale Open House. Those interested in Magnolia PTS-Orangevale are invited to the open house which will be held from 10 am.

Trustee from Sacramento County Board of Education Visit
Jackie Levy, Trustee from Sacramento County Board of Education, Area III, visited Magnolia Pacific Technology School for the first time on Monday, December 12, 2011. Mr. Altun presented Ms. Levy with with a one of a kind piece of marble artwork. Ms. Levy was very excited to tour our school and was impressed by what she aaw.
